Steelworks Celebrates Grand Opening of New Lavonia Facility with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Steelworks, a structural steel fabrication company, celebrated the grand opening of its new 200,000-square-foot facility in Lavonia, Georgia, with an official ribbon cutting ceremony on March 19, 2026, alongside community leaders, partners, and team members.
The event, hosted in partnership with the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce, the Franklin County Industrial Building Authority, and the City of Lavonia, welcomed guests for a formal ribbon cutting, guided tours of the new facility, and a luncheon to commemorate the occasion.
The relocation of Steelworks’ operations from Gainesville to Lavonia represents a significant milestone for the company, supporting expanded capabilities, increased efficiency, and long-term scalability. The new facility is designed to enhance production capacity while streamlining operations to better serve the growing demands of clients across the Southeast and beyond.
