Steelworks Earns AISC Certification, Reinforcing Commitment to Quality

Steelworks is proud to announce that it has earned certification from the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), marking an important milestone in the company’s continued growth and commitment to quality.

AISC Certification is one of the structural steel industry’s most recognized quality certification programs. Rather than focusing solely on final product inspection, the certification evaluates a fabricator’s quality management system across the entire fabrication process. Certified fabricators must demonstrate that they have the personnel, experience, documented procedures, equipment, training and systems in place to consistently deliver quality work.

“Earning AISC Certification is an important milestone for Steelworks and a reflection of the standards our team brings to the shop every day,” said Matt Morris, Operations Manager at Steelworks. “Quality has always been a priority for us, and this certification reinforces the processes, accountability and attention to detail behind the work we deliver. I’m proud of our team for the effort it took to achieve this and for their continued commitment to doing things the right way.”

The certification follows Steelworks’ relocation to its 200,000-square-foot fabrication facility in Lavonia, Georgia, and represents another step forward as the company expands its capabilities and market presence. With advanced fabrication technology, in-house detailing and engineering capabilities, and an experienced team, Steelworks is positioned to support increasingly complex structural steel projects across the Southeast and beyond.

For project owners, design professionals and construction partners, AISC Certification provides added confidence that Steelworks has established and maintains a comprehensive quality management system designed to build quality into the fabrication process from the start.
